Press officer of the M sector Ivan Chmil told 112 TV Channel, Censor.NET reports.
The militants fired at positions of Ukrainian soldiers in the Mariupol sector of the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area 17 times over the past 24 hours.
In particular, the illegal armed units fired at Shyrokyne and Hnutove four times each, and three times at Starohnativka.
The militants used weapons banned by the Minsk agreements four times, Chmil added. Particularly, they mortared the ATO forces' positions at Marinka with 82-mm shells for four times during early hours of Friday.
"Positions at Vodiane came under intensive almost two-hour long fire from 82-mm mortars, large-caliber machine guns, and various grenade launchers last night," the press officer said.
In addition, positions of Ukrainian Army at Berezove were fired from 122-mm SP-guns yesterday evening.
