 Russian proxies attacked Ukrainian Armed Forces’ positions 21 times today: over half of assaults recorded at Donetsk direction, - Staff

In violation of the cease-fire Minsk agreement, the militants employed weapons against the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) forces 21 times since midnight today.

Censor.NET reports citing the latest update by the ATO Staff press center.

The report reads: "More than half of the enemy attacks on our fortifications were committed at Donetsk section of the front. The enemy fired seven projectiles with 122-mm artillery at the Ukrainian military deployed near the village of Chervonyi Pakhar around 9 a.m. A projectile of the same caliber hit Zaitseve village at 3 p.m.

"The enemy fired at the positions in Maiorsk, Zaitseve, and Luhanske with mortars, grenade launchers, and machine guns. Pisky village was shelled with 82-mm mortars while high-caliber machine guns were employed against positions in Avdiivka. Weapons of infantry fighting vehicles were used by the enemy near Luhanske.

"IFV-mounted guns were also used by the enemy near Starohnativka at Mariupol section of the front. The strong points in Marinka were shelled with mortars and positions in Shyrokyne - with grenade launchers. In Vodiane village, the invaders continued committing provocations using small arms.

"The enemy was violating the cease-fire deal at Luhansk direction by shelling our strong points in Stanytsia Luhanska with 82-mm mortars. The invaders also used grenade launchers in Zhovte village and small arms in Popasna," the situation report reads.
