Censor.NET reports citing the latest update by the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) Staff press center.
The situation report reads: "The enemy fired more than two hundred projectiles at Donetsk section of the front. 122-mm artillery was employed against positions in Luhanske and Leninke. Fortifications in Troitske were shelled with 152-mm guns and in Semyhiria thrice. The Ukrainian soldiers deployed between Toretske and Avdiivka came under fire with mortars, grenade launchers, high-caliber machine guns, and small arms. The enemy also committed attacks with IFV-mounted guns in Novoselivka, Novhorodske and Verkhniotoretske, as well as employed a tank in Troitske.
"The Russian occupants shelled the ATO forces' strongholds in Myrne at Mariupol direction with 122-mm artillery before dawn. Marinka, Pavlopil and Krasnohorivka were shelled with mortars and grenade launchers. The positions in Novohryhorivka were fired at with small arms. A close engagement with the use of small arms and under-barrel grenade launchers took place in the vicinity of Bohdanivka again. Our soldiers gave a fitting rebuff to the enemy.
"Novozvanivka and Kalynovo-Popasna villages at Luhansk direction were shelled with 122-mm artillery. The enemy provided accurate fire on positions in Zolote with 120-mm mortars and automatic grenade launchers. The invaders mainly used grenade launchers near Novooleksandrivka and Novotroitske," the report reads.
