Diplomatic relations between Ukraine, Russia reduced to zero, no need in ambassador, - Minister Klimkin

The diplomatic relations between Ukraine and the Russian Federation are completely undermined, so there is no need in a Russian ambassador to Ukraine.

Ukraine's Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin said on air of 5 Channel, Censor.NET reports.

However, the minister says the introduction of a visa regime with the country-aggressor may not be so expedient.

"We have allowed Russian citizens to enter [Ukraine - ed.] only with foreign passports through international and interstate border crossing points. From the point of view of the Foreign Ministry, I am not against the introduction of visas. In principle, we have calculated all necessary steps. But it should be a move that comes not due to symbolic measures but a clear understanding what it will bring us," the minister remarked, adding it is necessary to weigh all the pros and cons of such a move.
