 PGO published minutes of interrogation of NABU detective on recent clash between law enforcers. DOCUMENT (in Ukrainian)

Viktor Ilchenko, one of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) employees detained during the broil with representatives of the Prosecutor's General Office, denies the application of force against him after detention.

"The minutes of the interrogation of the NABU detective refute the statements of their forceful detention by the Prosecutor General's Office," the source noted.

According to the source, one of the detainees testified that he is a NABU employee and performed no visual observation of anyone. At about 12 p.m., Aug. 12, he and his colleague arrived at the apartment at 7/9 Symona Petliury Str. to check the technical condition of the equipment. At around 2 p.m., several PGO representatives came and offered to follow them to a nearby building to give explanations. The NABU employees agreed.

As previously reported, a broil occurred between representatives of the PGO and the NABU Aug. 12. On Aug. 17, a rally in support of the NABU took place outside the PGO building in Kyiv.
