 No one killed, eight soldiers wounded yesterday, - ATO speaker

Eight Ukrainian military were wounded in the course of the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) in the east of Ukraine on Aug. 15.

This was announced by ATO speaker Oleksandr Motuzianyk at a briefing on Tuesday, Censor.NET informs.

"Over the past day, no Ukrainian military were killed in combat activities; however, eight our soldiers received injuries. Two military were wounded in a skirmish near Bohdanivka, two near Novoselivka. Three soldiers received injuries in Avdiivka at a mortar shelling by militants. In Marinka, one military was wounded in mine tripping," he said.

Earlier, Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council reported about 10,000 Ukrainians killed and more than 20,000 injured by Russian-terrorist troops over the past two years.
