Censor.NET reports referring to Ukrinform quoting Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers Oleksandr Saienko.
"We expect the movement of documents from registration to performer to speed up by 50 percent. This, in turn, will give an opportunity to make decisions and respond quickly. Our next step in the introduction of e-document management will be electronic coordination of laws and regulations, which will greatly accelerate the work of the Cabinet. Moreover, a new mechanism of governmental decision-making is being currently developed," he said.
According to Saienko, the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine from now on will not accept any paper letters from the central executive authorities.
He stressed that the transition to e-document management will contribute to not only a reduction in paper costs but, above all, the optimization of paperwork and record-keeping as well as the increase in staff efficiency.
"We expect that the workflow will become tangibly quicker, that less time will be needed for consideration of work issues, that funds will be eventually saved," the official noted.
As previously reported, at 12 a.m., Aug. 15, the system of electronic declaration of income and assets was launched in Ukraine.
