The militants have fired at the positions of Ukrainian soldiers at Avdiivka and Butovka mine this morning.

Speaker of the D sector Arkadii Radkivskyi told 112 TV Channel, Censor.NET reports.

According to Radkivskyi, the militants fired for about 70 shells at the positions of Ukrainian soldiers in the Donetsk sector over the past 24 hours.

"The Russian militants fired at the positions of Ukrainian soldiers in the Donetsk sector for about 23 times. Avdiivka, Zaitseve, and Luhanske strongholds were fired from 120-mm mortars, banned by the Minsk agreements. The enemy fired more than 70 shells at our defenders. Maiorsk, Avdiivka, Leninske, Novoselivka Druha, Luhanske, and Zaitseve strongholds were shelled with 82-mm mortars. The militants used grenade launchers and large-caliber machine guns near Toretske, Novhorodske, and Troitske," he said.

Since the midnight till 8:00 a.m., the militants used 120-mm and 82-mm mortars near Avdiivka for about five times. Butovka mine was mortared with 120-mm and 82-mm shells as well.
