NABU, SAP ran special operation to expose Judge Chaus since March, - Kholodnytskyi

The special operation of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP) to detain Dniprovskyi district court of Kyiv Judge Mykola Chaus lasted from March.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was said by Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine, SAP Head Nazar Kholodnytskyi on air of 112 Ukraine TV channel.

"It was a lingering special operation, and it actually lasted from March. It turned out that he (Chaus - Ed.) received this money particularly yesterday, having previously avoided it several times. He accepted it outside the court, as far as I was reported. But these very bills that were handed over to him had been marked by us. This is actually the first operation to expose a corrupt official that was held solely by the NABU and SAP, without involvement of other law enforcement agencies," Kholodnytskyi said.
