Prosecutor General Yurii Lutsenko said in a commentary to 112 Ukraine TV channel, Censor.NET informs.
"Within the case into creation of "LPR" terrorist organization, violation of territorial integrity of Ukraine by means of holding anti-Constitutional referendum, and other crimes stipulated by Criminal Code of Ukraine, PGO is conducting investigation within which citizen Yefremov was detained [earlier] and citizen Medianyk was apprehended on Friday night.
"More arrests will follow, as we have enough evidence against an entire group of people who violated territorial integrity of their own country. At the moment, the appeals court is hearing the case of Yefremov. We hope that judges make positive decision upon our motion, as charges that Yefremov faces do not stipulate for other punishment than arrest," Prosecutor General said.
Earlier, the morning of July 30, Yefremov was detained in Boryspil airport on suspicion of infringement of territorial integrity of Ukraine. The detention was intended to prevent possible escape of the suspect. In the evening the same day he was served with an indictment.
