Ukraine is not involved into assassination attempt on ‘LPR’ leader Plotnitsky, - ATO speaker

Ukraine has nothing to do with the assassination attempt on the leader of the ‘LPR’ Igor Plotnitsky. Most likely it was a result of struggle for power among the militants.

Presidential Administration spokesman on ATO issues Colonel Oleksandr Motuzianyk announced today at a briefing, Censor.NET reports.

"The only thing I have to say is that Ukraine is not involved into the assassination attempt because it has no logical background and will not solve a single problem. Moreover, we know that this is not the first assassination attempt in the so-called 'LPR'. We remember resonant assassinations of Mozgovoi, Russian Colonel Bushuev, and Pavel Driomov. Thus, the methods of struggle for power in the quasi-republic haven't changed much. Obviously, we are dealing with consequences of internal quarrels, redistribution of spheres of influence, and, of course, the struggle for power," he said.
