Censor.NET reports referring to the bank press service.
"As of July 30, 2016, the bank has received n either a decision on instituting of enforcement proceedings nor a decision on attachment of debtor's assets, while the ruling by the economic court has been appealed by the bank in cassation," the statement notes.
It is noted that despite the notification by the National Bank of Ukraine, in order to prevent an illegal recovery of funds, the bank has filed complaints to the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine and the State Executive Service and forwarded a request to revoke the payment claims and postpone the execution procedures until a corresponding ruling by the Supreme Economic Court is delivered.
"The administration of Ukrhazbank is extremely concerned about the illegal attempt to seize the assets of the bank (94.94 percent of bank's authorized capital is owned by the state, while the bank itself is among the objects of state property being of strategic importance for the economy and security of the state) and takes all possible measures within its powers to protect the interests of the state, shareholders and clients.
"We believe that those behind these illegal actions will be identified and brought to justice," the press service concludes.
Moreover, the bank believes that the actions have been initiated by unscrupulous borrowers and are intended to frustrate the bank's efforts to collect distressed debts.
