The accident happened in the mountains and fjords near the city of Aalesund, 550 kilometers (340 miles) northwest of Oslo, Censor.NET reports citing the Associated Press.
The bus was en route to Trollstigen, a steep road with a dozen of hairpin turns that leads to the Geirangerfjord, one of Norway's most visited tourist sites, when it fell into a 6-meter ravine.
Later, it was reported that the tourist bus was carrying approximately 41 people and was from Ukraine. All passengers had been rescued from the bus and the injured were rushed to nearby hospitals.
