As reported by Censor.NET, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Rozenko said it on air of 112 Ukraine.
"Ukraine will never recognize any actions by the Russian authorities in respect to the occupied Ukrainian territory. But in my opinion, they have clearly pointed at the place and role of Crimea in the Russian history.
"Until recently, everyone pronounced hosannas to them and the status of Crimea... Finally, it turned out that even formal autonomous status, which had previously been declared by Russia and Crimea's occupation regime, was reduced to provincial status within the Russian Federation.
"I think that Crimeans who were forced to stay in the occupied territory once again understood there is a precipice between the words of support and a real support. Especially when it comes to the Russian leadership," Rozenko said.
As reported, July 28, Russian President Vladimir Putin issued a decree to make occupied Crimea part of the Southern Federal District of the Russian Federation, thus stripping it of the status of a federal district.
