Colonel Yury Vladimirovich Shtondenko, born in 1964, Kemerovo Oblast. Served in Afghanistan, Stavropol, Vladikavkaz. Here are his profiles in social media 1, 2. He participated in Georgia invasion in 2008. In July 2015 he was a commander of the 333rd military training center of the Western Military District in Mulino, Nizhny Novgorod Oblast.
According to the investigators, Russian invasion in Georgia in 2008 was led by the 42nd division, the tactic group of which was commanded by Colonel Shtondenko. He was identified on some videos (0:25-0:30) of that time, the authors note.
In 2012, Shtondenko was transferred to Stavropol's 25th separate regiment of GRU, created by the Kremlin under disguise of guarding the Olympics in Sochi. The regiment was spotted by InformNapalm's volunteers in April 2014, at the very beginning of the war in Ukraine, when volunteers were trying to identify forces that were involved in the undeclared war, waged by Russia against Ukraine. Later, the 25th regiment was quite regularly covered by media as present in the Donbas.

Senior Lieutenant Vladimir Shtondenko was born on May 1, 1989. Here are his profile, albums, and contacts in social media. He graduated from Moscow Higher Military Command School, after which was redeployed to the 7th military base, where he's been serving ever since, possibly as a commander of a platoon of the 8th company of the 3rd motorized rifle battalion.
According to some data, the 3rd battalion of the Gudauta military base is regularly involved in 'Rostov Ukrainian trips.'
The 7th military base of Russia, stationed in occupied Abkhazia (Georgia), has been mentioned in relation to Ukrainian and Syrian trips of Russian soldiers. Volunteers have found at least 17 episodes of involvement of the given military unit of Russia in war crimes.
