 Ukrainian soldiers repulse saboteurs' attack in Avdiivka. 58 cases of shelling by militants recorded yesterday, - Staff

Over the past day, Russian occupation troops opened fire against the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) forces' positions 58 times.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by the ATO press center in a report as at 6 a.m. July 25, posted on Facebook.

According to the Staff, 35 cases of shelling were recorded at Mariupol direction.

"Using 122-mm self-propelled guns, the enemy hit Novohryhorivka; employing 120-mm and 82-mm mortars, it shelled Talakivka, Vodiane and Starohnativka. In Shyrokyne, Talakivka and Vodiane the enemy also used IFVs and grenade launchers, in Hnutove - anti-aircraft complexes, and in Krasnohorivka - large-caliber machine guns."

It is also reported that enemy snipers got more active near Marinka.

"At Donetsk direction, 21 cases of cease-fire violations have been recorded. It has been unquiet in Avdiivka and Novoselivka Druha, where Russian occupants have employed 120-mm and 82-mm mortars, grenade launchers of various systems, large-caliber machine guns, and small arms. In addition, Ukrainian soldiers engaged in a skirmish with enemy saboteurs. The enemy retreated.

"Also, using mortars of 82-mm caliber, the enemy fired upon our defenses near Nevelske, Opytne, and Butivka mine," the message reads.

It is reported that in the Luhansk region, the occupants opened fire upon Ukrainian soldiers two times, used grenade launchers and small arms in Orikhove.

Earlier, press officer of Mariupol operational tactical command Vitalii Kyrylov said that skirmishes with enemy recon and sabotage groups occur nearly daily at Mariupol direction.
