Speaker of the D sector Arkadii Radkovskyi told 112 TV Channel, Censor.NET reports.
As usual, the militants used various weapons, including those banned by the Minsk agreements.
"As a result of night attacks by the Russian troops, our military units near Avdiivka and Pisky were shelled heavily, in particular, with 122-mm guns and 120-mm mortars. Altogether, the terrorists fired about 62 shells at Ukrainian soldiers' positions. Avdiivka, Troitske, and Luhanske were mortared, as well as fired from automatic grenade launchers and small arms. The information about casualties and destruction is being specified," Radkovskyi told.
According to him, the militants have slightly decreased their activities since morning.
Earlier, it was reported about 54 militants' attacks at Ukrainian soldiers over the past 24 hours (24 - in the Donetsk sector; 26 - in the Mariupol sector; and four - in the Luhansk sector). According to the report, the militants fired 34 122-mm shells banned by the Minsk agreements at Avdiivka strongholds and 28 more at Pisky.
