 54 militants’ attacks reported yesterday, 30 122-mm shells hit Avdiivka stronghold, - ATO press service

Russian militants continued shelling the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area last night. It was reported about 54 militants’ attacks at Ukrainian soldiers over the past 24 hours (24 - in the Donetsk sector; 26 – in the Mariupol sector; four - in the Luhansk sector).

According to the report, the militants fired 34 122-mm shells banned by the Minsk agreements at Avdiivka strongholds and 28 more at Pisky.

Moreover, the militants used 120-mm and 82-mm mortars, grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms, firing at Avdiivka defenders.

Luhanske was fired from 120-mm and 82-mm mortars and IFV weapons, while Troitske was mortared with 82-mm shells. Novhorodske, Pisky, Novoselivka Druha and Butivka mine were fired from grenade launchers. The terrorists fired at Zaitseve stronghold from heavy machine guns and small arms.

The pro-Russian militants continued provoking Ukrainian soldiers in the Mariupol sector. Starohnativka and Shyrokyne strongholds were shelled with 120-mm mortars. The terrorists used 82-mm mortars and grenade launchers near Krasnohorivka, Talakivka and Vodiane, while militants' snipers were spotted near Marinka and Shyrokyne.

In the Luhansk sector, the militants mortared Staryi Aidar, while Novooleksandrivka was fired from grenade launchers and heavy machine guns.
