Increased Ukrainian Army losses in Donbas caused by drones used by enemy, former Ukrainian Defense Minister Marchuk says

The use of long-range drones by the enemy to adjust artillery fire is one of the reasons behind the increased Ukraine’s losses in the Donbas.

This was stated by Ukraine's representative in the security subgroup of the Trilateral Contact Group on the peaceful settlement of situation in the Donbas, former Prime Minister of Ukraine Yevhen Marchuk, Censor.NET reports citing Interfax-Ukraine.

"They have already started using long-range drones which adjust even artillery strikes. By the way, this is one of the reasons why our losses have increased. The artillery strikes became not so massive, but very short, very fast and extremely accurate," he said.

The former Ukrainian defense minister also pointed out that Russia uses the conflict in the Donbas for testing new weapons.
