 66 attacks registered over day. Enemy subversive group repulsed in Marinka, - Staff

Russian occupation forces continue delivering fire on anti-terrorist operation (ATO) forces' positions, including with Minsk-banned weapons. The enemy committed 66 on Ukrainian troops over the last 24 hours.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by the ATO press center in a report as at 6 a.m. July 22, posted on Facebook.

As noted, 30 cases of cease-fire violation were recorded at the Donetsk direction: "Avdiivka being the epicenter of hostilities, where militants hit our positions with 120-mm and 82-mm mortars, grenade launchers, heavy machine guns, and small arms. In addition, the enemy used 120-mm and 82-mm mortars to shell Novoselivka Druha. Our strong points near Maiorsk, Verkhniotoretske, Opytne, and Pisky came under 82-mm mortar attack, while grenade launchers, heavy machine guns, and small arms were employed outside Luhanske and Nevelske. In the vicinity of Troitske, terrorists fired heavy machine guns."

"At Mariupol direction, occupants committed 26 attacks against our troops. In the evening of July 21, a 10 strong subversive group tried to assault our stronghold in Marinka. The Ukrainian military repelled the attack, making terrorists retreat in panic. Using 120-mm mortars and grenade launchers, militants attacked Ukrainian defenders in Shyrokyne. Moreover, 82-mm mortars and grenade launchers were employed against Krasnohorivka and Marinka, heavy machine guns against Vodiane and Novohryhorivka, an IFV near Talakivka," the report reads.

10 enemy attacks were registered in the Luhansk region: "82-mm mortars, grenade launchers, and heavy machine guns were employed against Stanytsia Luhanska, small arms near Syze. The enemy also delivered random fire on Novozvanivka, Novooleksandrivka, and Popasna."
