"I have not fled abroad, but not going to disclose my whereabouts," - Irpin Mayor Karpliuk claims political repression against him

Irpin Mayor Volodymyr Karpliuk refused to disclose his location over alleged political persecution against him.

As reported by Censor.NET, he said on air of 112 Ukraine TV channel.

Karpliuk said: "First, I have not fled from Ukraine. I'm not going to disclose my location for one simple reason: we have just heard what the representative of the Prosecutor General's Office said. Besides, I was informed last night that there was a clear political order to arrest Karpliuk for 60 days, carry out rough arrest with the use of force. That is why I do not disclose my whereabouts."
