As reported by Censor.NET citing the Cabinet's press service, this was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Hroisman after meeting with President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker in Brussels on Tuesday.
The government of Ukraine has actually fulfilled all required measures to continue cooperation with the International Monetary Fund, Hroisman said.
Answering a question on possibility of adopting new laws needed for continuation of cooperation with IMF, the prime minister noted there was no need to adopt new bills.
According to him, a technical audit with the IMF mission has been conducted since May, which defined all requirements that have been subsequently implemented.
Hroisman noted there were several technical issues related to terms of certain measures for the future, which are currently being dealt with.
Ukraine's prime minister assured that all requirements on part of the Cabinet and the Parliament have been fulfilled.
As reported earlier, IMF planned to consider continuation of cooperation with Ukraine on EFF program in July, but it might also happen later.
Ukraine's National Bank is expecting the next tranche from IMF in amount of $1 billion in July, which was initially planned as $1.7 billion in aid.
The four-year program of IMF for Ukraine was opened in March 2015. The total amount of the program is $17 billion, with the first tranche of $5 billion and quarterly reassessments of the program.
In 2015, three more tranches of $1.63 billion each were planned, as well as reduced tranches of $.61 planned for 2016-2018 quarterly.
Ukraine only received the first two tranches. Part of the first one in amount of $2.7 has been allocated for the government to support the state budget, while the rest of the funds were allocated to the National Bank.
The IMF loan program for Ukraine has been suspended since fall 2015.
