Censor.NET reports citing the Luhansk Military and Civil Administration press service.
"The Stanytsia Luhanska checkpoint will be closed for a certain period. Abnormally hot weather has recently set in in the Luhansk region. A fire occurred in the Stanytsia Luhanska district due to the high temperature, triggering mine-explosive devices planted near the contact line.
"There is a real threat to the life and health of people. Therefore, a decision was taken to temporarily close the Stanytsia Luhanska checkpoint at 2:30 p.m., July 18, 2016 until the fire-fighting is over and the state of emergency is lifted," the report notes.
