The prosecution asked to set bail in the amount of 50 million hryvnia (approx. $2.01 million). Lawyer Yulian Voloshyn told lawyers, Censor.NET reports referring to 112 Ukraine.
The defense intends to appeal the decision on Monday.

Earlier, the National Police detained developer Voitsekhovskyi.
He is suspected of evading taxes in the amount of 12.5 million hryvnia ($500,000), setting up a criminal group with the purpose of seizing a land plot in Kyiv to construct a building, and embezzling citizens' funds in the amount of 2.6 million hryvnia during the construction.
