77 attacks were committed by terrorists over the past day, including 37 near Mariupol, 31 at Donetsk and nine at Luhansk directions, Censor.NET reports citing ATO press center.
In particular, at Mariupol direction, the enemy used Minsk-banned artillery (152-mm) to hit Ukrainian strong points in Pavlopil. In addition, militants employed 122-mm self-propelled guns against Vodiane and 120-mm mortars against Shyrokyne, Hranitne, Marinka, and Talakivka. As also reported, enemy snipers grew active in the vicinity of Shyrokyne.
At Donetsk direction, the situation was strained in Avdiivka. The enemy employed the whole range of armaments against Ukrainian troops, including 122-mm artillery, 120-mm and 82-mm mortars, grenade launchers, and small arms. Using 120-mm mortars, occupants shelled Ukrainian defenders in Novoselivka Druha, Nevelske, and near Butivka mine. Above all, armored vehicles, anti-aircraft guns, anti-tank missile systems, and heavy machine guns were employed by militants to harass ATO forces in the Donetsk region.
In the Luhansk region, Ukrainian troops in Staryi Aidar came under 120-mm and 82-mm mortar attack. Novozvanivka and Novooleksandrivka were also hit with mortars.
