 Civilian tripped explosive device in Popasna district, - National Police

A 61-year-old woman tripped an explosive device at about 7:30 a.m. Friday morning in the Popasna district of the Luhansk region, near Rodyna mine in Zolote village (grey area of the front line).

National Police in the Luhansk region press officer Tetiana Pohukai wrote on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.

According to her, as a result of the explosion, the woman received serious injuries and was taken to hospital (mine-blast trauma, shrapnel wounds to the chest, abdomen, and lower limbs, traumatic amputation of three fingers of the right hand, traumatic shock of the 1st degree).

The incident has been documented and qualified as a terrorist attack under article 258 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
