Censor.NET reports citing the press service of the company.
"Serhii Pereloma was questioned as a witness in a criminal case, which he informed the management of Naftohaz about. According to information available to the company, this case is not connected to Pereloma's work in Naftohaz," the statement reads.
The press service also drew attention to the fact that the company reaffirmed its continued readiness to cooperate with the investigation and inform about the further developments in the case.
Earlier, First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Naftohaz NJSC Pereloma and Odesa Port Plant Deputy Head Shchurykov, suspected of property embezzlement, were detained July 14.
