 EU to abolish visas for Georgian citizens in October, - Hahn

EU Commissioner for European Neighborhood Policy & Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn has announced that Georgian citizens will be able to travel visa-free to EU countries starting from October.

Speaking at "Georgia's European Way" conference in Batumi on Thursday, Hahn said that the country had fulfilled all obligations to receive visa regime liberalization. He said he was looking forward to the day when Georgian citizens visit Europe without visas.

The commissioner promised that the process would end in October.
