 Russian terrorists committed 72 attacks yesterday, used 152-mm guns, 120-mm mortars, AA-guns, - Staff

The situation in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) zone keeps deteriorating.

Censor.NET informs citing the situation report by the ATO Staff press center as at 6 a.m. July 14.

According to the Staff, Russian invaders assaulted Ukrainian defenders 72 times over the past day. The majority of assaults, namely 37, were recorded at the Mariupol section of the front.

"The enemy shelled our soldiers in Marinka with 152-mm artillery banned by the Minsk agreements and employed 122-mm self-propelled guns in Krasnohorivka. The enemy mortared Starohnativka, Bohdanivka, Novohryhorivka, Vodiane, Shyrokyne, Marinka, and Krasnohorivka with 120-mm mortars," the report reads.

30 enemy attacks were recorded at the Donetsk section of the front: "The enemy employed 122-mm artillery against Opytne and Pisky and 120-mm mortars against Avdiivka and Zaitseve. The invaders also fired at the ATO forces' fortifications in these villages with 82-mm mortars, grenade launchers of various systems, and small arms."

It is noted that the enemy assaulted the Ukrainian forces' positions in the Luhansk region five times. In particular, Novotoshkivka was fired at with 82-mm mortars and anti-aircraft guns while grenade launchers of various systems were employed near Stanytsia Luhanska.

"Despite increased number of enemy attacks, the ATO troops fully control the situation all along the demarcation line," the ATO Staff press center added.

Earlier, a civilian was killed by militants' artillery strike on Avdiivka.
