As informed by Censor.NET, this was announced in a report by the ATO press center as at 6 a.m. July 13, posted on Facebook.
Over the past day, the Staff recorded 19 cases of fire by Russian militants at Donetsk direction, 18 at Mariupol direction, and four at Luhansk direction.
"At Donetsk direction, the enemy was hitting our positions in Mykolaivka Druha from 122-mm artillery, and used 120-mm mortars in Zaitseve, Avdiivka, Semyhiria, Novoselivka Druha," the message reads.
According to the report, at Donetsk direction militants were firing from 82-mm mortars upon Novhorodske and Dacha. In addition, ATO forces in Avdiivka came under fire from 82-mm mortars, grenade launchers of various systems, large-caliber machine guns, and small arms.
At Mariupol direction, Minsk-banned 122-mm artillery systems and 120-mm mortars were used by illegal armed gangs to shell ATO forces in Krasnohorivka. They also used 82-mm mortars in Hnutove, and large-caliber machine guns in Shyrokyne. Strong points of ATO forces in Marinka were hit by sniper fire of militants.
It is noted that at Luhansk direction, positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Stanytsia Luhanska were fired at from grenade launchers and large-caliber machine guns, and near Krymske militants conducted sporadic shelling.
Earlier, Ukraine's Main Intelligence Department announced that terrorists were preparing active hostilities at Sloviansk direction after July 14.
