This was announced by Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov at the opening ceremony of the first customer service center in Kyiv, Censor.NET reports citing 112 Ukraine TV channel.
"This center is the first one replacing the old driver and vehicle licensing offices in Kyiv while Kharkiv, Dnipro, Lviv, Mariupol and other cities and villages throughout the country will follow. We are planning to cope with implementation of this reform in nine months. In nine months from today, we will be able to provide these services all over the country at a totally new level," Avakov said.
From now on, the citizens will be able to obtain more than 300 services spending from 20 minutes to two hours on it.
The ministry will also introduce mobile customer service centers - buses that will visit the secluded towns and villages.
The new customer service center in Kyiv is staffed by several dozen operators and consultants selected in a strong competition (43 candidates per position). It is also possible to obtain services remotely.
The customer service center is fully equipped with latest technology and all forms of communication allowing promptly providing the widest range of services. The main services are issuance and exchange of driving licenses, registration and re-registration of vehicles. It will be also possible to order manufacturing of license plates at a customer service center.
"The services are provided online as well. We will add a number of services which were not previously provided by the driver and vehicle licensing offices. All kinds of certificates issued by the Interior Ministry will be available here. The customer service centers will have possibility to formalize off-duty weapons in the near future after the legislation will be somewhat amended," the Interior Minister said.
The first customer service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine was opened at 8 Pavlo Usenko Str. in Kyiv today, July 12.
