Censor.NET informs citing the situation report by the ATO Staff press center as at 6 a.m. July 12.
According to the Staff, 23 out of 56 attacks were recorded at the Donetsk, 25 at the Mariupol, and eight at the Luhansk section of the front.
"Ukrainian strongholds in Avdiivka, Dacha, and Maiorsk at the Donetsk section of the front were shelled with 120-mm mortars. The enemy also employed 82-mm mortars against our positions near Butivka mine, Avdiivka, and Zaitseve," the statement reads.
Besides mortars, the occupants fired at the Ukrainian troops at the Donetsk section of the front with anti-aircraft guns, weapons of armored vehicles, and small arms.
It is also reported that the enemy did not stop committing armed provocations at the Mariupol section of the front.
"The fiercest attacks were recorded near Shyrokyne, where the Russian occupants used 120-mm mortars, grenade launchers, high-caliber machine guns, and small arms. The enemy also shelled Krasnohorivka, Pavlopil, and Slavne with 82-mm mortars."
"In the Luhansk region, the enemy shelled the Ukrainian defenders in Novooleksandrivka with 122-mm artillery and 120-mm mortars as well as employed anti-tank guided missiles and grenade launchers in Popasna," the ATO Staff press center noted.
Earlier, the enemy committed 94 attacks on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine July 10.
