This was announced by the Verkhovna Rada Speaker Andrii Parubii during the parliamentary coordination board meeting, Censor.NET informs citing Interfax-Ukraine.
"The enemy is also developing plans on destabilization of the situation inside the country by creating an artificial political crisis and disorder on the streets. We are witnessing a certain religious organization with a spiritual center in the aggressor country mobilizing a large amount of its members to Kyiv on July 26, calling it a peaceful procession.
"According to our information, the Kremlin has prepared provocations to implement on Kyiv streets on July 26," Parubii said at the meeting of the coordination board of faction, committees, and parliamentary groups leaders on Monday, July 11.
The parliamentary speaker noted that not only civilians, but also subversives with banned symbols and those of the aggressor country are coming to Ukraine's capital.
"Followers of pro-Russian organizations - young athletic people who had been seen earlier in hostile takeovers and provocations - are also being taken [to Kyiv]," Parubii said.
As reported, the procession started in the east of Ukraine, at Sviatohirska Lavra, on July 3, and in the west of Ukraine - at Pochaivska Lavra - on July 9. On July 27, on the eve of celebration of Baptism of Kyiv Rus Day, members of the two marches intend to meet on Kyiv's Volodymyrska Hirka Hill and walk jointly to the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, where a festive liturgy is to take place.
