Representative of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine on anti terrorist operation (ATO) issues Colonel Andrii Lysenko said at a briefing on Sunday, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrinform.
"Military intelligence has recorded how militants form mobile mortar vehicle groups that plan to shell their own positions and residential blocks in order to discredit the Armed Forces of Ukraine and make plots for Russian propagandists," Lysenko said.
There is information that the militants plan an offensive of an artillery unit near Pavlopil and Pyshchevyk in the Donetsk region, he added.
"Soon, the militants are planning to move an artillery unit against the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) forces at Pavlopil and Pyshchevyk. This once again demonstrates the hostile militants' attitude and their unwillingness to fulfill the conditions of the cease-fire," Lysenko stressed.
