 Terrorists fired 60 mortar shells in 20 minutes last night, - ATO press center

Pro-Russian terrorists shelled the positions of Ukrainian troops in the Mariupol sector 22 times over the past 24 hours. 11 cases of shelling have been reported this morning.

Press officer of the operational and tactical command of the M sector Vitalii Kyrylov said, Censor.NET reports citing 112 TV Channel.

According to him, the militants fired from weapons banned by the Minsk Agreements, in particular from 82-mm and 120-mm mortars. The tensest situation was observed in the vicinity of Marinka and Shyrokyne.

"Marinka was the hottest spot. The terrorists fired 60 122-mm mortar shells there over 20 minutes last night," Kyrylov said.

He added that the Ukrainian military observed unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) that conducted aerial reconnaissance of the ATO forces' positions.
