Troitske stronghold heavily shelled. Three soldiers killed, 10 injured, - Butusov

A stronghold of Ukrainian soldiers near the village of Troitske was heavily shelled last night. Pro-Russian militants attempted to move closer to Ukrainian positions and attack under artillery cover. The attack was repelled.

Censor.NET Chief editor Yurii Butusov wrote on his Facebook page.

"Three of our mechanized infantry battalion soldiers died a heroic death, three others were seriously injured, seven more got light wounds," Butusov wrote.

"OSCE observers and diplomats of the EU countries who are talking about lifting sanctions imposed on the Russian Federation should be taken to this stronghold. And this is not a unique case. The Russian troops are not going to stop the fire," he added.

"We need everything that is showed in the news right at the destroyed stronghold. We need U.S. radars of artillery intelligence, drones. We need to fire back not just warnings shots, but fire to destroy the identified targets. Putin is not going to stop the war. Only we can do it," he concluded.
