 Terrorists committed 56 attacks yesterday, used 122-mm artillery, AA guns, 120-mm mortars, - Staff

Over the past day, Russian occupation forces kept delivering fire on anti-terrorist operation (ATO) positions, including with Minsk-banned weapons.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) press center in its report as at 6 a.m. July 8, posted on Facebook.

According to the Staff, the enemy committed 56 attacks on Ukrainian army positions: "30 cases of cease-fire violation were reported at the Donetsk direction. Strong points outside Avdiivka came under 122-mm artillery fire. Militants also employed 120-mm mortars in the vicinity of Avdiivka, Zaitseve, Luhanske, and Novoselivka Druha."

"At the Mariupol direction, 25 attacks on our strong points were registered, in particular near Talakivka, 120-mm and 82-mm mortars were employed. Our soldiers in Shyrokyne, Marinka, Starohnativka, Krasnohorivka, Slavne were hit with grenade launchers, IFVs, anti-aircraft guns, and heavy machine guns.

"In the Luhansk region, a mortar attack was recorded in the area of Novooleksandrivka," the report reads.

As previously reported, during the week, the enemy five times opened fire towards Maiorsk, Marinka, and Zolote checkpoints in the ATO area.
