 57 attacks registered yesterday as enemy employed IFVs, missile systems, 152-mm artillery, - Staff

Russian occupation forces continue attacks on anti-terrorist operation (ATO) forces.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) press center in its report as at 6 a.m. July 7, posted on Facebook.

According to the Staff, 30 attacks were carried out at Donetsk direction, 16 at the Mariupol direction, and 11 at the Luhansk direction.

"At the Donetsk direction, the enemy used 120-mm mortars to hit our positions in Troitske, Novoselivka Druha, and Avdiivka. Ukrainian soldiers near Verkhniotoretske, Avdiivka, and Novhorodske came under 82-mm mortar fire.

"At Mariupol direction, terrorists employed 152-mm artillery to shell Lebedynske, while Shyrokyne was struck with 120-mm and 82-mm mortars. IFVs and anti-tank missile systems were used against our positions near Novohryhorivka. The number of sniper attacks rose in the area of Marinka," the report reads.

As also noted, in the Luhansk region, Ukrainian army positions in the vicinity of Popasna, Novooleksandrivka, Bohuslavske, and Novozvanivka came under indirect 82-mm mortar and grenade launcher attack, causing Ukrainian soldiers to fire back.

Earlier, Presidential Administration speaker on ATO matters Andrii Lysenko reported July 5 that militants had used Grad-P rocket launchers, also known as "Partizan", outside Maiorsk for the first time in many days.
