This morning, the representatives of Radical Party and Batkivshchyna factions as well as some independent deputies continue blocking the work of the Verkhovna Rada.

Lawmakers are blocking the rostrum and the presidium of the Verkhovna Rada, a Censor.NET correspondent reports.

Oleh Liashko and Yuliia Tymoshenko, the leaders of the blocking parties, can be seen in the presidium.

At 10:25 a.m., Andrii Parubii was allowed to the microphone. He opened the parliamentary session and then closed it, noting that consultations were necessary in order to proceed.

According to Radical Party leader Oleh Liashko, MPs will seek a compromise to resume the work of the Verkhovna Rada.

"We agreed that Parubii would announce a break until 10 a.m. tomorrow and we would work hard to find a compromise that we hopefully will offer for parliament's consideration tomorrow," he said.
