"From the very beginning, I was not a supporter of the Minsk agreements. I thought then and still think that the Minsk agreements were concluded in conditions rather adverse for Ukraine. I believe that Putin does not want to abide by them, and his plans for Ukraine will not be stopped by the Minsk deal. They can only be stopped by force and international sanctions," Parubii said.
In addition, the speaker noted that after Petro Poroshenko was elected president, he was forced to resign as NSDC secretary. According to Parubii, this is due to a different vision of the developments in the east of Ukraine.
At the same time, Parubii believes that Poroshenko did what president should do: "He was doing his utmost to stabilize the front and avoid more deaths."
