Yesterday, the Russian militants attacked the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Donbas for about 48 times, firing from the weapons banned by the Minsk Agreements.

It was reported about 48 militants' attacks at Ukrainian soldiers over the past 24 hours in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area.

Thus, 28 attacks were reported in the Donetsk sector. In particular, the militants fired at Luhanske from 122-mm artillery systems and 120-mm mortars. Ukrainian positions near Verkhniotoretske, Troitske, and Avdiivka remain the hot spots of the region. The terrorists used 120-mm mortars, grenade launchers and heavy machine guns there.

19 militants' attacks were reported in the Mariupol sector. Ukrainian soldiers at Krasnohorivka were shelled by the pro-Russian militants with 120-mm mortars, banned by the Minsk Agreements. Talakivka, Berezove, and Novotroitske strongholds were fired as well.

It was relatively calm in the Luhansk sector. Only one militants' attack with the use of small arms was reported near Popasna.
