As reported by Censor.NET citing the National Security and Defense Council's (NSDC) press service, this was announced by Secretary of NSDC Oleksandr Turchynov in his comment regarding statement of Russian President Putin about the "civil nature of the conflict in Ukraine."
"Having again stated of Russia's non-involvement in the military conflict in Ukraine, Vladimir Putin one more time demonstrated that the Kremlin's policy is based on cynical lies and trickery," Turchynov said.
The NSDC secretary also informed that more irrefutable evidence of Russian aggression against Ukraine "could be found even on the official website of the Administration of President of Russia."
"In June, Putin signed orders of promotion to generalship of Russian career servicemen for crimes conducted in the east of our country," he said.
According to Turchynov, Major General V.G.Asapov, who commanded the 1st army corps in the occupied Donetsk region between April 2015 and May 2016, has been promoted to Lieutenant General. Major General S.S.Yudin, who commanded the 2nd army corps in the occupied Luhansk region between January and April 2015, has been promoted to Lieutenant General. Colonel A.Y.Ruzinsky, who commanded 2nd separate motorized rifle brigade (Luhansk city) of the 2nd army corps between April 2015 and May 2016, has been promoted to Major General.
"These two army corps that wage the war against us in the east of Ukraine are a part and parcel of the Armed Forces of Russia and are commanded directly by the Center of territorial troops of the Southern Military District of the Russian Federation," Turchynov noted.
"It's not a civil conflict in Ukraine, it's an aggressive undeclared war that is waged by the Russian Federation against our independent democratic country. Only viewers of Russian TV, brainwashed by the Kremlin propaganda, can believe Putin's lies," the secretary of NSDC summed up.
