As reported by Censor.NET, presidential envoy in the parliament Artur Herasymov said it in an interview with LB.ua.
"Until Russian tanks and army are removed from the Donbas, until the border is closed, at least technically, no way! No elections will be there!
"And we [Ukraine - ed.] have the right to that as there is one very fine detail in the Minsk agreements. It reads that elections should be held under OSCE/ODIHR standards. Thus, as long as people with Kalashnikovs stay in this territory, elections are out of the question," he said.
As reported, elections in the occupied Donbas and giving this area a special status are stipulated by the Minsk agreements signed on Feb. 12, 2015.
