This was announced by ATO speaker Andrii Lysenko at a briefing on Thursday, Censor.NET informs.
"Over the past day, one Ukrainian soldier was killed in combat activities, another 11 received injuries. The losses were incurred by the Ukrainian army at the Svitlodarsk salient, near Troitske and Luhanske.
"In the same area, volunteer soldier Wassyl Slipak was killed by an enemy sniper yesterday morning. Slipak was a renowned opera singer, participant of the Revolution of Dignity, who abandoned his career and left his home in France to defend Ukraine. We express condolences to families of the killed," he said.
As reported, according to the NSDC, Russian-terrorist groups have killed 10,000 and injured more than 20,000 Ukrainians in the Donbas over the past two years.
