 Artur Biriuk, suspect in murder of ATO veteran Prykhodko, found dead in Kyiv

A man who was killed near a high-rise residential building in Sviatoshynsky district of Kyiv was identified as Artur Biriuk - a suspect in the case of murder of demobilized ATO soldier Artem Prykhodko.

This was announced by Automaidan activist Oleksii Hrytsenko on his Facebook page, Censor.NET informs.

"According to my information, Artur Biriuk - an accomplice in murder of the 12th battalion fighter Artem Prykhodko - was found dead. While agencies and ATO soldiers were hunting for him, it turned out he had created an armed gang covered by militia and participated directly or indirectly in a dozen of murders. The court released him under house arrest with a bracelet," he wrote.

Kyiv police's communication department identified the killed man as a "Kyivite born in 1989, previously convicted. The victim was suspected of hooliganism, including that causing death of an anti-terrorist operation (ATO) fighter."

Earlier, Sept. 27, 2015 demobilized fighter of the ATO Artem Prykhodko was killed in a conflict in Palmira cafe in Kyiv. The investigation named three suspects who provoked the conflict - Artem Biriuk, Yevhen Korneiko, and Artem Kozachenko. Korneiko has been named the murderer, and two other suspects - his accomplices in the crime.
