One Ukrainian soldier was killed, six were wounded in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) in the east of Ukraine on June 27.

This was announced by Presidential Administration representative on ATO matters Oleksandr Motuzianyk at a briefing on Tuesday, Censor.NET informs.

"Yesterday, one Ukrainian soldier was killed in combat activities. This occurred in the industrial area of Avdiivka as a result of a sniper shot by illegal armed gangs.

"Over the past day, six Ukrainian military were wounded. Five soldiers received injuries along the entire demarcation line as a result of enemy shelling, and one Ukrainian military was injured near Starohnativka by tripping a mine," he said.

According to the NSDC, Russian-terrorist groups have killed 10,000 and injured more than 20,000 Ukrainians in the Donbas over the past two years.
