As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by the ATO press center in its report as of 6 a.m. June 23, posted on Facebook.
As noted, 46 attacks on the ATO forces have been recorded over the past 24 hours, including 22 at Donetsk direction, 16 in the vicinity of Mariupol, and eight in the Luhansk region: "The enemy carried out 30 mortar and seven 122-mm and 152-mm artillery strikes on Ukrainian army strong points."
At Donetsk direction, the ATO forces' positions near Pisky, Avdiivka, Verkhniotoretske, Troitske, and Zaitseve came under mortar fire. In the area of Nevelske, Kamianka, Novoselivka Druha, and Troitske the enemy employed artillery.
"In the vicinity of Mariupol, Ukrainian strong points outside Vodiane were hit with 82-mm mortars, while 120-mm mortars were used by Russian proxies near Talakivka, Taramchuk, and Shyrokyne.
"In the Luhansk region, the enemy employed mortars against Ukrainian strongholds near Novozvanivka, while positions outside Novooleksandrivka came under machine gun and grenade launcher attack. Terrorists also randomly fired 122-mm self-propelled guns, trying to provoke our soldiers to retaliate," the report reads.
As also noted, three attacks on civilians have been registered: "Russian occupants fired 122-mm self-propelled guns on residential areas of Avdiivka and Pervomaiske, and 82-mm mortars on Vodiane (Mariupol direction)."
Earlier, ATO Staff press officer Volodymyr Korniiaka reported that the situation at the Luhansk direction tends to deteriorate.
