Ukraine’s Interior Ministry advocates deployment of international police mission in Donbas

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine supports introduction of the international police mission in Ukraine to resolve the situation in the Donbas.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was stated by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Serhii Yarovyi.

"The Ministry of Internal Affairs welcomes, endorses, and supports the international police mission capable to facilitate the settlement of the situation in the Donbas.

"We consider its involvement as guarantor of democratic elections, capable of maintaining law and order during the electoral process, to be critical and essential.

"This will provide the opportunity not only to ensure the rights of local communities and self-government, but also to achieve peace and stability in the region," Yarovyi said.
