"We continue capturing Russian soldiers, paratroopers, officers," - SBU Head Hrytsak

About 100 Russian citizens have been detained by the Ukrainian counterintelligence in connection with the events in the Donbas.

As reported by Censor.NET, Ukrainian Security Service Head Vasyl Hrytsak said in an interview with LІGA.net.

"We continue capturing Russian soldiers, paratroopers, officers. Overall, the Ukrainian counterintelligence has dealt with some 100 Russian citizens involved in events in the area of the anti-terrorist operation," he said.

"I would like to mention another issue. Out of 25 Islamic State terrorists apprehended last year in Ukraine, 19 arrived from Russia. Some of them hail from Tajikistan or other countries. But all they came here from the territory of Russia. At the same time, I don't hear much about a great success in the struggle against Islamic fundamentalism and international terrorism in Russia: the country is open for terrorists," Hrytsak noted.
