"We were on the brink of second front line when Russians prepared to enter Odesa region from Transnistria as 'rebels'," - SBU Head Hrytsak

Ukraine's Security Service has prevented Russia's creation of 'people's republics' in the southeastern regions of Ukraine. .

As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by Ukraine's SBU Head Vasyl Hrytsak in an interview to LIGA.net.

"Russian hybrid war is spreading far outside the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area. It is waged in Kyiv, in Odesa, in Kharkiv. We have prevented a breakdown of the country into Russian bandit enclaves like the 'Donetsk People's Republic' and 'Luhansk People's Republic.' We have stopped scenarios of creation of the so-called Kharkiv, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Bessarabia 'people's republics'," he said.

"The situation was catastrophic in Odesa. We were on the brink of the second front line when Russians were ready to enter the Odesa region from Transnistria as 'rebels.' No one speaks of that," the official stressed.
